Battery Trays are designed to hold specific battery sizes securely. All Battery Tray sizes attach to the Fuselage Body the same way. The Landing Gear Legs are mounted to the Battery Tray and a 20mm long M3 screw goes through both the Landing Gear Leg mount and the Battery Tray mount. The screw is treaded into the M3 tapped holes. Nylon screws are recommended.
New Battery Tray sizes will be made available upon request.
There are presently four STL files for different batteries available for download. They fit 4S LiPo batteries packs from RaceDay Quads for 2800mAh, 5500mAh and 6500mAh packs.
There is also a STL for a Battery Tray for the Upgrade Energy’s 4S Lion 4000mAh Lion battery pack. This Battery Tray has cooling holes due to the high heat generated by Lion batteries at a high rate of discharge.
Each Battery Tray has a Door with a latching “tang” designed to keep the battery securely in place. A battery strap may be used instead of the Door.
